Damage
Homes have suffered millions of dollars in damage. Some fared better than others in terms of damage and loss. In this particular home water levels in the basement rose to around 1 foot and remained for days after the rains stopped. It wasn't until a full week after hurricane Harvey that we were able to begin the mitigation process. We began by removing the wet sheetrock and linoleum and by using dehumidifiers and air movers to dry out wet spots. Then we worked with the homeowners to select replacement flooring and trim boards and completed the reconstruction of the home.
